The parish includes the villages of Bywell and Newton, and the smaller settlements of Bearl, Brocksbushes, Crookhill, Edge, Heathery, Mowden Hall School, Newton Fell Farm, Newton Hall, North Acomb, Peepy, ShildonHill, Stelling, Styford, Styford Hall, Styford High Barns, Styford Wood, Wellhouse Farm, and Westside.
