This section includes profiles of some of the many heritage sites in the North East of England. Further sites can also be found by locality via the Places menu and sections on Castles and Listed Buildings may also be of interest. The region has two world heritage sites: Hadrian's Wall and Durham Cathedral.

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England.
