Crook Hall
Crook Hall is a medieval manor house located in the Framwelgate area of Durham City. The oldest part of Crook Hall was built in the 14th century by Peter del Croke, after which it's name is derived. It's likely to have replaced an earlier building in the Manor of Sydgate. There were additions and extensions to the hall in the 17th century and it was linked to an adjacent house in the 18th century. Crook Hall is a Grade I listed building on the National Heritage List for England. In 2022, Crook Hall and Gardens were purchased by The National Trust.
