Gallaghers Irish Bar, Carlisle


Gallaghers Irish Bar is located on St Nicholas Street, by the junction with Botchergate / London Road, in Carlisle. The building dates from the mid-19th Century, and was previously the Golden Lion. The Golden Lion was run by the Carlisle & District State Management Scheme from September 1916 until 1973.[1] It was later renamed as "Gallagher's".
