Dufton with Knock Methodist Chapel

Dufton with Knock Methodist Chapel was built in c.1900. A Wesleyan chapel was established in Dufton in 1803, replaced by a new chapel in 1820 (the building still exists as a private residence named "Wesley House"). Then in 1839 a Primitive Methodist Chapel was built, but the growing cogregation needed a larger chapel, reulting in todays building.[1
