Church of St Mary, Threlkeld
St Mary’s Church in Threlkeld was rebuilt in 1777, incorporating the bell-tower iof an earlier church. There has been a church on this site since at least Norman times, probably longer. The church was restored in 1911, including new flooring and interior woodwork. St Mary’s Church is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
