Church of St. Andrew
St Andrew's Church, located by the Market Place in Corbridge, dates from the late 7th or early 8th century. The building includes stone reused from the nearby Roman town. The west porch of the church was raised into a tower in the early 11th century. The building was remodelled and altered in the 13th, 18th and 19th century.[1] St Andrew's Church is Grade I listed on the National Heritage List for England. The church is also notable for it's associated 13th century Vicar's Pele, 18th century hearse house and Lych gate war memorial.
