Lych Gate and War Memorial, St Andrew's


The stone Lych Gate at St Andrew's Church, Corbridge, was built as a memorial iin commemoration of 108 local servicemen who lost their lives in the First World War. The memorial was unveiled by Lt. Gen. Sir Percy Wilkinson, and dedicated by Rt.Rev. Bishop Hornby on the 25th July, 1920.[1] The memoroal is Grade II listed.
