Located to the east of Bewick Hill Camp (hillfort). Scheduled Monument (legally protected).

"A series of seven cup and ring marked stones or possible cup marked stones were recorded during an Archaeological Services Durham University survey of Old Bewick Hillfort and its environs during March 2012. Six of these panels are located to the east of the hillfort, with a series of the prehistoric rock art panels incorporated into an earth and stone boundary to the east of the hillfort."[1]
