Winton United Church


Winton United Church (aka Winton Chapel) is a united Baptist and Methodist church on Hall Bank Way in Winton. The building is dated 1863 and was originally the Baptist chapel. The first Baptist chapel in the village was built in c.1837, and was rebuilt in 1863. A Wesleyan Methodist mission room was established in Winton in 1895.[1] There has been a ecumenical union between the Baptists and Methodists since 1989.
