United Reformed Church
The United Reformed Church (URC) is a Protestant Christian church, formed in 1972 by the merger of the Presbyterian Church of England and the Congregational Church in England and Wales. In 1981 the URC absorbed the Association of Churches of Christ, and in 2000, the Congregational Union of Scotland. In 2022 it had 1,284 congregations, and roughly 40,000 members.
