The Old School House, Vickerstown

The Old School House is located on the Pomenade, immediately south of St Mary's Church, in Vickerstown, Walney Island. The school was built in 1856, to a Gothic Revival style. It was built in memory of Thomas Y. P. Michaelson. The school closed in the early 20th century, presumably when, or soon after, Vickerstown School opened 1902. The former school is now a private dwelling.
