Stella

Stella is a village on the south banks of the River Tyne, just north-west of Blaydon. The village was centred on Stella Hall, which was demolished in 1953.[1] Much of the modern housing in the village was built in the grounds of the former Hall. The Church of St Mary and St Thomas Aquinas in Stella dates from 1832.
