Railway Viaduct east of Guyzance


There is a railway viaduct on the East Coast Mainline, located about half mile east of Guyzance. The viaduct crosses the River Coquet and was originally built 1849-1850, by Robert Stephenson for the York, Newcastle and Berwick Railway. The northern part of the viaduct is in Acklington Civil Parish, the southern part is in Warkworth Civil Parish. The viaduct is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
