Ord Civil Parish


The civil parish of Ord in Northumberland is situated to the south-west of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Tweedmouth. The parish had a population of 1,374 at the time of the 2011 Census. The bulk of the population resides in East Ord; there also several farmsteads / hamlets in the parish, including Middle Ord, South OrdWest Ord, Murton, Murton White House, Unthank and Unthank Square. Historically, the Township of Ord was part of the ancient parish of Tweedmouth.
