Newlands Church and former School


The Parish Church in Newlands Valley was built in 1843 on the site of an earlier church. Adjoining it is a former school building, dated 1877, now used as a meeting room.[1] Newlands Church and former School is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.

NEWLANDS SCHOOL BUILT BY THE PARISHIONERS 1877, CLOSED 1967 THIS STONE WAS PLACED HERE IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF DOROTHEA POTTS HEADMISTRESS 1943-1963.
