Middle Duddo

Middle Duddo is a farm in Northumberland, located about 2 miles east of the village of Stannington. It is situated near Duddo Burn. There was once a more substantial medieval settlement here.[1] Many of the farm buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries and the west range has a former gin-gang.  The farmhouse and outbuildings are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.[2] The former cartshed is 17th century and is seperately listed.[3] Historically, Duddo (East, Middle and West), together with Whinney Hill, formed a township in the ancient parish of Stannington. Today, West Duddo is part of Stannington Civil Parish.
