Magpie Inn, Carlisle

The Magpie Inn is located by the junction of Victoria Road and Banks Lane in Botcherby, Carlisle. The public house was built in 1933 to designs by Harry Redfern for the Carlisle and District State Management Scheme.  During the 20th century there were various minor alterations to the building, and in 2010 it underwent restoration aimed to return it to its original design.[1] The Magpie Inn is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
