Isaac's Tea Trail
Isaac's Tea Trail is 37 mile (58 km) circular walk named after Isaac Holden (1804 - 1857), a former lead miner who became a tea seller and community fundraiser travelling around the North Pennines. The route links Alston, England’s highest town, with Allendale and includes the hamlets of Ninebanks and Kirkhaugh, and the former lead mining village of Nenthead.
