Grange Methodist Church


Grange Methodist Church is located on Kents Bank Road in Grange-over-Sands. It was originally built as a Wesleyan Methodist chapel, in a Gothic-style, by Ernest Bates. The foundation stone was laid by Mrs Alexander Brogden and Ernest Bates, Architect, Manchester, on the 11th September 1874, and the chapel opened for worship in 1876. It was enlarged in 1903 by the addition of a hall and Sunday school. Grange Methodist Church is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
