Chapel at Chipchase Castle - List Entry

    Chapel. Medieval masonry. Largely rebuilt after 1735 for John Reed. South wall ashlar the rest dressed stone probably mainly remains of church described as ruinous in early C18. Single cell, 4-bays. Alternating rusticated quoins. West end has round-headed doorway in moulded surround with capitals and keystone. Round-headed west bellcotealso with moulded capitals and arch. Venetian east window in similar surround.....
