Cocker Bridge, Cockermouth

Cocker Bridge in Cockermouth carries Main Street over the River Cocker. The single segmental arch bridge was rebuilt in 1828. It is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. The bridge was temporarily closed to vehicle access in October 2023, after part of the adjacent Old Courthouse collapsed into the River Cocker; the bridge was reopened in mid December 2023.
