Church of St Matthew, Summerhill Street
St Matthew's Church on Summerhill Street in the Summerhill area of Newcastle, close to Big Lamp. The parish church was built in 1877, designed by R.J. Johnson. The tower was added to the church in 1895 by Hicks and Charlewood. St Matthew's Church is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England.
