Church of St Mary, Thornthwaite
St Mary's Parish Church is located a short distance east of the village of Thornthwaite in the Allerdale district of Cumbria. It was built in 1831, replacing an earlier church of c.1760 on this site.[1] It was initially built as a chapel of ease to St Kentigern's Church at Great Crosthwaite. St Mary's Church is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
