Blackwell, Carlisle
Blackwell is a village, located immediately south of Carlisle, and is within the Cumberland Unitary Authority area and in the ceremonial county of Cumbria. Carlisle Racecourse has been loacted here since 1904. Historically, Low and High Blackwell were townships in the ancient parish of St. Cuthbert, Carlisle. Today, Blackwell is part of the Civil Parish of St. Cuthbert Without.
