Upsall Hall, Nunthorpe


Upsall Hall near Nunthorpe was built for the family of ironmaster John George Swan in c.1873. The hall came into the ownership of the local authority in the 1960s. It was used as a  day centre for people with learning disabilities up to 2013. The Hall is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
