The Boardroom, Carlisle
The Boardroom is a public house, located on the corner of Castle Street and Paternoster Row in Carlisle. The building dates from at least the late 18th century, with alterations to it made in the 1960s and 1980s. The deeds for the house are said to begin in 1651 and it was known as "The Board Inn".[1] The pub was operated by the Carlisle and District State Management Scheme between 1916 and 1972. The Boardroom is a Grade II lised building on the National Heritage List for England.
