Shield Hall, Slaley
Shield Hall is a farm in Northumberland, located about 1½ miles north-west of Slaley and 1 mile east of Juniper. Shield Hall mostly dates from 18th century. A range of 19th century farm buildings here, incorporate the reminants of a 13th or 14th bastle or pele tower. This surviving wing of the Medieval house are Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England. The farmhouse is seperately Grade II listed.
