Leeholme


Leeholme is a village in County Durham, located about 2 miles north-east of Bishop Auckland. The village was originally developed to accommodate miners and their families, following the opening of Leasingthorne Colliery in 1836. Leeholme is adjacent to the village of Coundon and the 2 villages shore the Leeholme and Coundon Community Centre.
