Lady Shield, Haydon Bridge


Lady Shield is a farm located by Stanegate, about 2½ miles NNW of Haydon Bridge, in Northumberland. The 1860 Northumberland Farms Index lists Lady Shield under Lipwood Township in the ancient Chapelry of Haydon Bridge. Today, it forms part of Haydon Bridge Civil Parish.
