Knowehill


Knowehill is a farm in Cumbria, situated by the River Waver, and located about 4½ miles north-west of Wigton and 2½ miles south-west of Newton Arlosh. Knowehill is on the B5307 and Cycle Route 72 (Hadrian's Cycleway). The farmhouse here dates from the 18th century, and thought to incorporate an earlier building. It is a Grade II listed building on the National Heritage List for England. The garden walls and gate piers to the house are seperately Grade II listed. Knowhill is part of Holme East Waver Civil Parish.
