    Hello I am new to this site. I see you have photos of Settlingstone Mine, my Great Grandfather worked there and his father and brothers. I have a photo of them on strike in early 1900s, they were all sacked from the mine. My Great Grandfathers name was Matthew W Philipson. Has anyone else heard of this?

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England and Cumbria.
