High Hesket


High Hesket is a village in the Eden district of Cumbria, located about 8 miles south-east of Carlisle and 9 miles north of Penrith. Amenities in the village include High Hesket CE Primary School, St Mary's Church and the Salutation Inn. To the south of the village, on the A6 road, is High Hesket Business Park, which includes a number of shops and businesses. The village forms part of Hesket Civil Parish. Historically, it was in the ancient parish of Hesket-in-the-Forest, Cumberland.
