Harbybrow


Harbybrow (aka Harby Brow) is a farm / hamlet in the Allerdale district of Cumbria. It is situated by the River Ellen and located about 1 mile south-west of the village of Mealsgate and about 5½ miles south-west of Wigton. Harby Brow Tower, which adjoins the fatmhouse here, dates from the 15th Century. The tower is a Grade I listed building on the National Heritage List for England.
