Former Kirknewton Railway Station


The station to the north-east of Kirknewton in Northumberland was on the Alnwick-Cornhill Railway (the 'Cornhill branchline'). The station was opened on the 5th of September 1887 by the North Eastern Railway. The station closed to passengers on 22 September 1930 and to goods traffic on 30 March 1953.
