DLI Cross


The stone Celtic-syle cross is located by Durham Cathedral, just south-west of Palace Green. This is a war memorial dedicated to the soldiers of the Durham Light Infantry who died in the Second Boer War (1899 - 1902). The memorial is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
