Dent Head Viaduct


Dent Head Viaduct carryies the Settle to Carlisle Railway line over Fell End Gill. It was built c.1869-1875, for the Midland Railway Company, Chief Engineer John Crossley, resident engineer J.Underwood. Dent Head Viaduct is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. It is located about a mile south of Artengill Viaduct and about 3 miles north of Ribblehead Viaduct.
