Church of St Mary

St Mary's Church is located on Church Street, off the Market Place, in Dalton-in-Furness. The parish church was built 1882-1885 by Paley and Austin. It stands on the site of an earlier church, but reatins a 14th-century font and some ancient 14th-century stained glass. The building is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England.
