Church of St Kentigern, Castle Sowerby


St Kentigern's Church in Castle Sowerby dates from the 12th century, with later alterations and additions. The church was restored in 1821, and again in 1888, by C.J. Ferguson.[1] The church is in a remote location and is part of the CofE Diocese of Carlisle, and the Benefice of Caldbeck Castle Sowerby and Sebergham.[2] St Kentigern's Church is a Grade II* listed building on the National Heritage List for England.
