Church of St. Cuthbert


The Church of St. Cuthbert on Quary House Lane in East Rainton was built 1866-1867 and designed by C.H. Fowler. The south chancel window in the church is by Wailes and Strang of Newcastle and depicts Holman Hunt's 'Light of the World'. The church is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
