Church of Holy Ghost, Middleton

The Church of the Holy Ghost at Middleton in Cumbria was built from 1878 to 1879, designed by C.J. Ferguson.[1] It replaced an earlier church on this site, which had been built in 1634 as a chapel of ease to the parish church at Kirby Lonsdale, on ground donated by Christopher Bainbridge.[2] The church is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
