Barrow Island


Barrow Island is part of Barrow-in-Furness, which is bound to the west by the Walney Channel, and bound to the south and east by the town's docks. It was originally separate from the mainland, unil the 1860s, when land reclamation saw the northern fringes of the island connected to central Barrow.
