Barrow Shipbuilding Company 1872

  • Description

"This lovely crest is seen on the office block of what is now BAE Systems and responsible for building nuclear submarines. Over the yard's long history it has been responsible for many historic ships from iconic passenger liners, Dreadnought class battleships, the first commercial LNG carrier and many of the UK's submarines.
