80-96 Grey Street
Norfolk House, Nos. 80 to 96 Grey Street, Newcastle. Shops and houses, now shops and offices. c.1836 by John Dobson, for Richard Grainger as part of the redevelopment of Newcastle City Centre from 1824 to 1841. This is a Grade II* listed building on the National Heritage List for England. Nos 94-96, on the corner with Shakespeare Street was is now the Grey Owl, previously Davidson’s jewlers. No. 92, hosts Bridgfords Letting Agents and Nos. 84-86, on the corner of High Bridge, is the Co-operative Bank.
