33-41 Grey Street


Nos. 33-41, Grey Street in Newcastle was originally built for the Bank of England and Northern District Joint Stock Bank, now offices. It was built c.1835, by John Wardle, for Richard Grainger as part of the redevelopment of the city centre. The building is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England.
