War Memorial, Tudhoe


The stone war memorial stands on the Green in the centre of Tudhoe Village in honour of local men who lost their lives in the First World War (61 names listed).[1] "ERECTED/ TO THE MEMORY OF/ TUDHOE VILLAGE SOLDIERS/ WHO HAVE MADE THE/ GREAT SACRIFICE/" It was later also dedicated to those lost in the Second World War.[2] The memorial is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
