War Memorial, Greatham
The war memorial in Greatham stands in the churchyard of the St John's Church. The memorial commemorates 13 local servicemen who died during the First World War and was unveiled on the 16th of July 1922 by the Archdeacon of Auckland.[1] After the Second World War the names of a further 13 men who lost their lives in that conflict were added to the memorial. The memorial is Grade II listed.
