War Memorial, Calderbridge


The war memorial in Calderbridge is located by St Bridget's Church. The memorial is dedicated to 12 local servicemen of St Bridget's Parish who lost their lives in the First World War. The red sandstone memorial was unveiled on the 5th of September 1920 by Mrs Rymer, and dedicated by the Vicar. The names of a further 7 men who died in the Second World War names wre added in 1948.[1] The memorial is Grade II listed.
