Victoria Hall, Grange-over-Sands


The Victoria Hall is located on Main street in Grange-over-Sands. It was built by public subscription to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, the Hall was officially opened on the 1st January, 1901. The Hall is a Grade II listed building on the National Heritage List for England. The Victoria Hall is now a charitable trust of the Town Council, on behalf of the people of Grange-overSands. The Main Hall houses a fully-equipped theatre with a permanent stage and balcony and there are two meeting rooms, including the Council Chamber, which are available to hire. A Tourist Information Ofiice is located on the ground floor.
