The Snods Community Hall

The Snods Community Hall (previously know as St Johns Church Hall) is located on Burnmill Bank (B6278) at Snods Edge. The building dates from 1877, when it was originally built as a Church of England School, associated with the nearby St. John's Church. A Headmaster's House was also built around the same time. After the school was closed in 1960, trustees were appointed for the School buildings and School House and the hall was renovated in 1967. The Hall became a registered charity in 1998.[1] A room was built at the rear of the hall to commemorate the Millennium.
